Remember, the best traders think in a number of unique ways.

Facts about me

  • I am a martial arts black belt since 17. I never stop practicing. This passion led me straight to discipline and self-control. I always keep my focus towards an objective of growth. On top of that, society and regimes, geopolitics and capital markets interest me highly. This is why I took this path…

  • I am certified from Bloomberg Market Concepts, Yale, Geneva University and UBS, IBM and more. I like to go more in depth in the field I studied. It’s for this reason that I decided be certified in fields related to trading like AI, Market Microstructure, Financial Markets, Programming Languages, and more.

  • I have a plethora of different financial skills including valuations, analysis, reporting, trading, investing, financial planning, budgeting, accounting and more.

  • I master apps like VS Code, Power BI, Cursor, Tableau, Excel. MATLAB, MT4/MT5, etc, and programming languages including Python, R, JavaScript, C/C++/C#, MQL5 and SQL.

Rebirth…

In 2021, I placed my first trade. Since then, my interest in financial markets kept growing.

Feeling very different from most people surrounding me, I have always felt more focused and dedicated to the goals I set to myself than most. On top of that, for the better, my curiosity, interest and desire to acquire knowledge kept me going.

Humble in the learning and bold in the doing, I’ve known ups and downs from which I only grew faster in skills, relations and business.

I built three companies, led multiple teams, met masters in their crafts and got mentored by them, studied and worked in more than five different countries, and more. However, the one lesson I learned from my experience and that relates to the finance career I am aiming towards is as follows:

“There are two things that push a man to go forward: survival and curiosity. Curiosity will always be more powerful, not because it is more instinctive but because it is mindful.”

200 trades later…

After deciding to take a path from which I’ll never turn back, I built a plan that would get me recognized in the trading community.

First, competences and applications. While pursuing my BSc in Business Engineering, I started learning trading from available content on social media and books written by famous institutional traders. However, it was never enough. Something always felt off: “Was I really applying my knowledge the right way? Was I even acquiring proper knowledge?”

With boldness -always-, I left the program I was pursuing to focus on my objective, still managing to receive my BSc certificate and continue my studies by joining two MSc in Entrepreneurship and Finance, consecutively.

I built my skills and improved them by focusing, at this point on what matters. My daily aim is to have 80% signal and only 20% noise.

More than that, I managed to continue completing relevant certificate to acquire needed hard and soft skills, while applying this knowledge in the market (the 200+ trades) and getting mentored by a trader at Multibank Dubai who became a friend of mine.

Today…

Between chart footprints, market microstructure, programming languages, and trading strategies, I am realizing that knowledge is infinite and will never end… just like opportunities found in the markets.

Today, I see trading as the most complete craft in terms of skills and capabilities requiring polyvalence, focus, work and results. Seems complex, yet I believe accessible to all.

I became a strategy creator, an edge researcher, an algorithmic trader or strategy coder, a seller and negotiator, a theory builder, a quantitative thinker, and more. I learned how to be “rigid in the rules and flexible in the expectations”.

My aim is completely align to interest. Becoming an institutional trader is not only about finding a job, but it is about pursuing curiosity and interest, creating profit in unlimited ways, thinking flexibly and differently, and benefiting the industry like no one else.

My philosophy

Dedication

As a martial artist and trader most of my projects and hobbies require an insane amount of attention and dedication. It requires a high amount of interest and a focus to be able to learn, apply, and continuously improve. Practice and feedback creates the perfect application of a master, over time. In short, doing the right thing, long enough, consistently, until achievement. There lies the first pillar of my philosophy.

Focus

Focus and speed are very important. However, speed require a higher level of mastery as it should NOT be reckless, rather shall it be mindful. An 80/20 signal to noise ratio allows focusing on what matters to move towards the goals set in the most mindful way. To get there fast, on the other hand, is not to move to the next step quicker but to focus and master the current step thoughtfully and consciously.

Purpose

The last pillar lies in aiming the dedication and focus towards a goal to give purpose to the action and avoid noise. Just like an investor focuses on NOT losing money, I focus on taking the next step that will make move forward towards my goal. This gives purpose to my actions, and can be applied to any life, professional and social setting…
